I’m a freelance English Language Teacher.
When I was 10 I moved with my family from Washington D.C. (U.S.A.) to Naples (Italy). That’s when I started learning Italian and teaching English to older Italian cousins and friends, helping them with their homework.
I conceived a Master Degree in European Languages (University of Naples Federico II) specialising in Linguistics and in Language Teaching.
I have worked for almost two decades with every age students from nursery through to Post Graduate.
I think the most important thing in teaching is keeping it real.
I love to create fun and engaging lessons! I always try to add a craft in my lessons with kids. I believe that if you let them create their own product, they will make real life connections and put in practice what they have learned.
The objective of this blog is to share ideas, thoughts and reflections about teaching.
I absolutely love teaching and enjoy reflecting on my practice and learning more about the possibilities for improving teaching and learning in my classroom and classrooms around the world.
